Congratulations to Brendan Jones who has raised over £1800 for the Street Child World Cup. Brendan successfully completed a 13 mile half marathon of the North Pole incredibly with zero training. This brave effort was completed in just over three hours though Brendan concedes that his wife pipped him to the finish line by a determined thirteen minutes. Speaking from the Arctic circle he said:
“Conditions were tough, running on a slippery glacier is quite something. Scenery however is amazing. Luckily no polar bear in sight. Thanks to all those who donated.”
